Chris Womack

As a graduate student pursing a Master of Arts in Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary, Chris considers it an honor and privilege to journey alongside others as we all navigate through both beauty and complexity of life together. Chris is a trained Christian counselor who uses an integrative approach that is strongly rooted in evidence based psychological research, biblically and theological principles to treat the whole person – mind, body, soul, and spirit.

However, as an Adlerian informed Cognitive Behavioral psychotherapist, Chris is willing journey alongside anyone regardless of their race, gender, or sexual orientation because everyone is created with intrinsic value. Chris believes that your illness isn’t your identity. Your brain chemistry isn’t your character. Chris loves to instill hope in others because if you’re alive, you have a purpose, and you bring something special to this world. Chris has several years of experience working with various nonprofit organizations that outreach to adolescents, teenagers, emerging adults, and individuals. He holds certifications in Prepare Enrich and restoration therapy for couples as well. 

Chris’ areas of interest are Integration of Theology and Psychology, Anxiety, Spiritual Issues, Trauma, and navigating existential crises surrounding purpose and careers.
