Sandra Thomas

Dr. Thomas recently relocated to Atlanta, GA. She completed her Psychiatry Residency at Duke University Hospital in 2011. She is also board certified in Family Medicine; however, she spends most of her time providing psychiatric care as her goal is to improve her patients’ quality of life, which mental illness can greatly affect.

She enjoys working with the general adult (18 years old and above) and geriatric populations. She is able to diagnose and manage Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Depression, Anxiety, Sleep Disorders, and various other psychiatric diagnoses.

She also specializes in performing ECT (electroconvulsive therapy), which is very effective in treating Major Depression as well as other psychiatric diagnoses, including Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder.
